Stay Fabulous During Cancer

FU Cancer was founded to help you discover useful information & learn from personal experiences during this difficult time.

Everything we do is founded in our core belief that no one should ever feel they are alone.

We've been where you are now and we aim to help you retain your identity and stay fabulous!

Hello!

My name is Jo & my ovaries tried to kill me

I was diagnosed with low-grade serous ovarian cancer in 2021 at age 42. My situation was unusual as the masses on both ovaries weren’t cancerous, but after my hysterectomy, cancerous cells were found in my omentum. I had to undergo chemo to kill off these pesky little buggers.

Although it was a huge shock I felt confident in my medical team and for a positive outcome, but I REALLY struggled with the changes to my appearance during & after treatment.

I found it frustrating to find collated information online, so after I finished my treatment I decided to set up FU Cancer. My aim is to help others navigate this part of the cancer journey and hopefully help you feel less alone.

Whether you are an overwhelmed patient or a confused supporter I hope you'll find information to make this shitty journey a little easier (and hopefully have a giggle along the way).
